We envision a society in which historically underrepresented communities are not only seen and heard, but are also empowered to shape their collective future. Through the transformative power of music and storytelling, we seek to cultivate belonging, amplify marginalized voices, and inspire meaningful civic participation. We strive to ensure that every individual recognizes their agency and the profound impact of their vote.
Mission
Our mission is to convene and galvanize diverse communities, particularly those systematically excluded from the electoral process, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Latino, immigrants, individuals experiencing poverty, and their allies, through dynamic pop-up choir events. By integrating communal singing, personal narratives, and robust voter education, we strive to elevate civic consciousness, increase voter registration, and drive turnout in strategically selected districts where engagement is most critical.
What We Do
We organize immersive pop-up choir experiences, inviting participants to learn and perform songs together in real time, regardless of prior musical experience. Each event is designed as a platform for sharing stories and fostering dialogue about the significance of voting and civic engagement. Central to our approach is a comprehensive voter registration initiative, ensuring that every attendee has the resources and support necessary to participate in the democratic process. Our efforts are informed by rigorous research, enabling us to identify and prioritize districts where underrepresented populations intersect with competitive local, state, and federal races. This maximizes our potential for meaningful impact.
Why It Matters
Our initiative operates at the vital intersection of civic responsibility and social connection. In an era marked by political polarization and widespread disenfranchisement, we offer an innovative model for community mobilization. We leverage the unifying force of music to combat voter apathy and empower those whose voices have too often been marginalized. Pennsylvania’s status as a perennial battleground state underscores the urgency of our work. For example, in PA-142, Republican Joseph Hogan won the general election by only 76 votes, highlighting the tangible difference that increased participation can make. Having already convened hundreds of participants at previous events, our vision is to register thousands of new voters and influence outcomes at every level of government, with a particular emphasis on local elections that most directly affect daily life.

Recognizing the pivotal role of informed strategy in advancing civic engagement, we seek to establish purposeful collaboration with party leadership, campaign strategists, and affiliated organizations. Your nuanced understanding of electoral landscapes, district-level priorities, and key demographic targets is invaluable as we endeavor to direct our efforts where they will yield the greatest impact.
Our research, aligned with the priorities of the DCCC, has identified US House districts PA-01, PA-07, PA-08, and PA-10 as critical battlegrounds at the federal level. These districts serve as anchor points for our initiative, guiding our selection of competitive local races and informing the placement of our pop-up choir events.
