Amplify: A Pop-Up Choir for Common Humanity

Amplify is not your typical choir — it’s a movement of voices raised in harmony and truth. Through soul-stirring songs and courageous storytelling, we gather to embody the real lives behind the lived experiences of marginalized people. This pop-up choir brings strangers together in the public square to bear witness to the dignity, struggle, and joy of our shared humanity.

Each gathering weaves together powerful music and first-person stories from immigrants, trans neighbors, and others whose lives are too often debated but rarely heard. As the music rises, so do the voices of those whose truths deserve to be felt — not just argued about. It’s a public act of empathy, designed to break through noise and misinformation with beauty, presence, and honesty.

Join the Choir
There are two ways to take part in Amplify: you can show up the day of the pop-up choir and join the voices rising in the square, or you can come to rehearsals to learn the songs ahead of time and help us carry the vision forward.

Sign up to receive updates about both the rehearsal schedule and the public choir gathering. Food is provided, and all are welcome — no auditions, no pressure. You don’t need to be a trained singer.
